Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty, born October 1, 1995, was raised in Berkeley, California. Her work includes actress in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House 2022.

Asia Argento is an Italian actor and filmmaker who is the daughter of a large familia. She has pursued both professions herself. As a young girl when she began her acting debut in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. The year 1988 was the time she was cast in the lead role in Cristina Comencini's first feature film Zoo. In the film Condannato a nozze, Asia's absorbent style of intense acting was utilized well. Her role as Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, which focuses on a physically disabled girl, was a challenging and intricate role, which earned her the David di Donatello award for the best actor. The film also featured her in a major performance on the screen in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio which again earned her a David di Donatello as well as an award of Grolla of Oro. Asia started directing short films in 1994. She also produced an episode of the movie De Generazione. 1996 saw her directing a documentary alongside her dad. 1998 was the year she directed AbelAsia on the famous filmmaker Abel Ferrara. This film won a prize at the Rome Film Festival. The year 1999 was the year Asia was the first to direct a feature film in the form of Scarlet Diva with Scarlet Diva, in which she played the lead actress as well as the writer of the screenplay. The film was released in on May 1, 2000 in Italy in addition to all over the world. The Williamsburg Film festival located in Brooklyn, New York awarded it with a prize.
