Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer well-known for his distinctive blend of soul gospel jazz R&B and R&B. Avery Sunshine has performed on Broadway and in festivals throughout Europe as well as her appearance at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine's real name is Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta, her roots are situated in Chester Pennsylvania. There she started to pursue an interest in music, as a singer and pianist at church. The musical journey began for her in Atlanta at Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You A House 12, was only released in Japan. The song has been remixed several times, and is the mainstay in her live performance. The Fighting Temptations was the another soundtrack on which she sang. in 2005 Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage play Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday (a Grammy and Tony Award-winning singer) was approached for the position of choir conductor for Dreamgirls in Atlanta during the National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was at the center of attention for the nation during 4 performances a day during 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be requested to sing with the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
